Jenn is currently involved in research in Vilcabamba, Ecuador known as “The Valley of Longevity” where she interviews locals at Senior Centers for insights on healthy aging. The locals credit their health and longevity to their strong faith, their close relationships with family and friends.
Pictured here is Jenn walking in Rio Vilcabamba, the least polluted river in the country, rich in mineral content and the source of the town’s water. The locals note the influence of the water on their healthy aging.
Locals also explain how the unique geography of the Andes mountains has created a valley that provides harmony and balance. Jenn is here in front of the mountain top Mandango, nicknamed the sleeping Inca by the Indigenous.
